Edmond is internationally respected for his expertise in nimble change leadership and culture change. For the past 30 years, he has been executing strategic transformations, building agile capabilities, and advising clients across sectors in Europe, North America, and the Middle East.

He is a former corporate transformation executive in drastically changing industries: CIO at Delta Hotels when Expedia disrupted the hotel business; and VP Corporate Development & General Manager USA for the technology business of Envoy Communication Group when design and marketing agencies started to become digital.

As CIO of Delta Hotels, Edmond led an ambitious transformation that allowed the company to advantageously navigate its rapidly changing industry — with disruptors such as Expedia and Travelocity entering the market. Delta expanded while realizing double-digit improvements in productivity, quality and customer service. Following CP Hotels’ acquisition of Delta and Fairmont, Edmond co-led the merger and strategic transformation of the IT function, which became a key competitive advantage. After Fairmont, he joined Sage Information Consultants as it was being acquired by Envoy Communication — an international group of design and marketing agencies. Edmond held the dual role of VP Corporate Development and General Manager USA, based out of New York City. He led the business through rapid growth and transformation before tackling the challenges brought forward by the dot-com collapse and 9/11. In 2002, he left the corporate world to start ORCHANGO.

Edmond, who is the creator of the ORCHANGO Method™, oversees the development of our intellectual property. He also led the design of The STEP UP!™ Game – our competitive simulation (“serious game”) to learn nimble change leadership for the next normal.

As a speaker, Edmond addresses audiences on change leadership, agility, innovation and influence. He delivers speeches with the passion, humour and engaging style that are his trademarks. He brings tools, concepts and techniques to life by sharing vivid stories from the real world.

He is a guest lecturer for DeGroote School of Business’ EMBA in Digital Transformation.

Edmond’s clients span a wide spectrum of sectors: pharmaceuticals & healthcare, banking & insurance, hospitality & travel, government, retail, mining, energy, media, professional services, high-tech, manufacturing, engineering, non-profit, labour unions, etc.

He holds a Master of Engineering from Centrale Marseille, one of the prestigious “Grandes Écoles” of France (where he learnt how to code in Prolog, the AI programming language that powers IBM Watson’s natural language processing capabilities). Edmond is also a graduate of the Ivey Executive Program. He speaks English and French, as well as some Spanish – his mom’s native language.

Edmond is a sports and outdoor enthusiast who until recently raced at the “Master 1″ level in road cycling and cyclocross. True to his French upbringing, he loves food, wine and cooking. He lives in Toronto with his wife and son.

Recent executive testimonial about Edmond’s work

GSK Canada hired ORCHANGO during the COVID pandemic to help with a significant culture change.

Edmond was our consultant, guiding myself and our top leadership team throughout the transformation. His expertise, knowledge and passion were contagious and energizing. He provided the necessary insights, direction and guidance to ensure we were successful.

Edmond has an openness that allows for easy, two-way communication. His willingness to challenge us and share his experience ensured a smoother transition to the new culture. When we experienced challenges or hit barriers, Edmond was there to help us check-and-adjust – so that we could hit our milestones and achieve our end goals.

The transformation was critical to the business and our employees. At the end, employee engagement was an astonishing 85%. We successfully embedded the mindsets and behaviours that our business needs to thrive amidst a rapidly shifting environment.

I highly recommend Edmond as a partner for three main reasons. First, the knowledge (frameworks, tools, etc.) and deep experience he brings to the team as an outside-in expert is invaluable. Second, his passion for change leadership is contagious and when facing significant change, you need energy to fuel the activities. Third, his level of commitment and personal drive to see our leaders, employees and company grow and succeed.

For me personally, Edmond acted as educator, supporter and challenger. It allowed me to fulfill my role as steward of the culture shift and ensure the transformation was the best it could be, and I was the best I could be. I learned and grew through the experience.
